Flying Arrow Studios

Hello! Welcome to the homepage for Flying Arrow Studios. We are a small, fledgling movie studio located in the heart of the Mojave Desert; right along highway 395 in Southern California.

Location

The Mojave Desert is rich in beautiful, exotic locations that can easily be transformed into a faraway planet or a not-so-far country or city. It is a land of extremes, with temperatures hovering between 110 and 120 in July and dipping sometimes to a few degrees below zero in January. This is anything but your stereotypical desert of nothing but sand dunes. The wildlife ranges from jackrabbits to coyotes to snakes to songbirds.

Here, you're never sure what to expect. One day, it's dry as a bone and blazing hot. The next, it can be pouring rain. Sometimes we can even get snow!  Needless to say, the weather makes it very hard to find a good day to film!

Facilities

Unfortunately, I cannot brag about our stages...because there are none.  The stage space a the moment is limited to whichever friends or companies are patient enough to put up with a few chairs, a small crew, and a camera or two. But we will have some stage space of our own...someday.  

Staff

Okay, now I'm embarassed. The staff consists (for the moment) of my immediate family, one friend, and my sisters' fiance'. Counting me, that makes seven.

As you can see, there's not much to Flying Arrow at all. In fact, we can' even be called a company right now. It's strictly family and friends. Our current projects are delayed because of erratic housing, finances, and family situations. (don't ask!) But, if you'll continue to look around, you may see something that interests you. So go ahead! Feel free to explore and learn about our tiny little company.

Our mission here at Flying Arrow is, simply put, to create fun, family-friendly films that teach valuable lessons; while still entertaining all ages. Details are as follows:

-To keep every movie clean of language and other offensive content
-To tell wholesome stories in the media of film that make an impact in the veiwers' lives
-To create characters with integrity, rather than flimsy morals
-To further the film concept in story devellopment and production design
-To (someday) make an impact on the mainstream film industry

Quite a list. The goals we've set are difficult, but not impossible. Hopefully we can reach them in the future.
